Goal Tending
Using a low player: teacher ratio (3:1), goaltenders will be taught the full range of basic skills from stance to skating techniques to the uses of each piece of equipment for varying situations.
  • 4 hours of daily on-ice training.
  • Student-teacher ratio 3:1 (ratio may vary slightly on a per ice session basis).
  • Participants will be taught basic to advanced skills depending on their relative ability. Special emphasis will be placed on movement in the net.
  • Off-ice program will focus on video tape analysis, fitness development, alternative training regiments, and classroom discussions.
  • Mental imagery and focussing will be a special feature at our camp.
  • Goalies will be taught by goalies. They are not targets for players. This is truly a "goalie camp."
  • Program operates between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
