  • The program will focus on all aspects of shooting and stickhandling throughout the week. The player will receive a total of 10 hours of ice time.
  • The first hour of the on-ice session will focus on stickhandling more specifically stickhandling in open ice situations, stickhandling within confined areas, and stickhandling in scoring situations.
  • The second hour will focus on all aspects of shooting. The type of shooting will vary according to age and caliber of the player.
  • Most players will be exposed to sweepshots, wristshots, slapshots, screenshots, and snapshots.
  • The more skilled player will focus on more sophisticated concepts such as wrap arounds, shooting from the point, deflections and the like.
  • The program will also feature an off-ice component designed to enhance the players’ shooting and stickhandling abilities.

Age: Open to those playing Atom – Pee Wee or Bantam ages. Players attending this program should be proficient skaters

Time: Half days only
